This website was created from my own journey of loss-after saying goodbye to my sister Misty and my mother to suicide, and my brother Michael to a tragic accident by the time I was 18. Here, I've built a community where memories are honored, stories are shared, and families can find comfort, support, and hope.
This site is more than a memorial- it is a community. It is not just a website- it's my soul's purpose.
It is a place to celebrate life, to heal, and to ensure that those we love are,'' Always Remembered and Never Forgotten.'"

IN LOVING MEMORY

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear.

In Loving Memory of Misty Lynn Dollwet October 8th 1977- January 21st 1996.

Misty Lynn Dollwet was a truly remarkable individual whose bright spirit and articulate nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met . Known for her exceptional communication skills , she dazzled her grandfather's coworkers at work parties with her quick wit and impressive vocabulary.
Misty excelled academically, achieving straight A's throughout her school years and her penmanship was nothing short of amazing.
A passionate writer, Misty loved to express herself by journaling and creating beautiful pieces of jewelry.
Her love for her family was profound and she cherished every moment with them.
No matter where she worked, she often found her self in management positions, demonstrating her natural leader ship abilities and work ethic.
At a young age she was adaptable and could easily connect with everyone she encountered, making friends wherever she went.

Misty had a flair for music and enjoyed creating mixed tapes of her favorite songs from the radio. She lived in various group homes in Marin county always in bracing new experiences and would often take her little sister along on field trips sharing her adventurous spirit and love for life.
Throughout her career Misty worked at several places including as a manager at Ross and a Mexican restaurant in Occidental. Her dedication and hard work we're recognize when she became the manager at the bakery department at Safeway and later at Red Lion restaurant in Novato California .
In her memory, a tree was planted in front of the restaurant after her passing. A beautiful tribute to her life.
One memory I have is from my eighth birthday when Misty picked me up in her recently purchased Cadillac. She was beaming with happiness as she drove us from Petaluma to Santa Rosa mall to get my ears pierced at Claire's. Sadly they were closing when we arrived so instead we treated ourselves to ice cream Sundays at Swenson's and watched a movie together. Those joyful moments together are a testament of her warmth and love, a light that shone brightly until her out untimely passing.

Misty Lynn Dollwet's legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, reminding us of the importance of love, friendship , and living life to the fullest . She will always be remembered for her brilliance, kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her.

                         michael Anthony Dollwet
             December 4th 1980- february 1st 2005
Michael Anthony dollwet passed away at the young age of 25, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and authenticity.
Michaels life, though far too short, touched everyone who knew him with his gentle heart and unique spirit.
Michael was a gifted artist, known for his incredible ball point pen drawings that reflected patience, detail, and vision, he also expressed his creativity through street art, tagging bridges and walls with the style that was truly his own. Art flowed through his veins, a gift he shared with his father fa, and one that will continue this inspire his family and friends. He lived boldly and unapologetically, never afraid to stand out or embrace his individuality. Michaels love of punk rock went beyond the music- it was a way of life. With his London -style punk look and confident stride, he turned heads wherever he went. Some may not have understood, but Michael stayed true to himself, leaving deeply and being who you are and doing what makes you happy.
Alongside his creative  Side, Michael was also an athlete. In school, he excelled in both basketball and baseball, proudly earning the title of an all star player. His drive and talent carried into the court in the field, where he shined just as brightly as he did in his art.
Michaels greatest love, however, what is his family. A true mama's boy he treasured time spent at family dinners, holidays in moments gathered around the table. He worked with his dad and shared a bond of respect and admiration with him, but it was his mothers love the anchored his heart. Michaels gentle soul, his laughter, his artistry, and his fearless individuality Will never be forgotten. He taught those around him the importance of staying true to yourself, loving fiercely, and finding joy in creativity and family. Though his passing leaves and ache that words cannot mend, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Founder's Story
By Marie Anne Hodgson
The inspiration behind a celebration of life website comes from my own journey of love, loss, and resilience.
My name is Marie Hodgson and I built this space from the deepest part of my heart, shaped by the people I've loved and lost.
By the time I was just 18 I had lost three out of five of my immediate family members. I'm grateful for my dad, my rock and my hero, who has always been there for me .

At 8 years old I lost my sister Misty Lynn Dollwet to suicide. She was only 18 and so full of life.and gone for too soon. Eight years later my mother Debra Lynn Ferrua followed the same heartbreaking path also by suicide at the age of 46. Not long after when I was 18 years old my brother Michael Anthony Dollwet passed away tragically from a freak accident They called it positional asphyxiation he was just 25 years old. I had been with him the day before and the shock of his passing still feels surreal.
By 2025 I had lost 51 friends Family members and people who felt like family to me in just the past five years. The weight of grief has been overwhelming- yet it has also strengthened my resolve to create a place where others can find comfort, healing, and connection.
Working as a banquet server I've been constantly reminded of the importance of honoring lives. Four out of five banquets I served were "Celebrations Of Life". Each one a gathering of love, remembrance, and stories. Those moments reinforced my vision : to build a digital space where memories can live on, where families and friends can come together to share stories, light candles, honor legacies, and find support in their grief.
This website is more than just a project-- It is my life's purpose. It is a sanctuary born from my pain, my healing, and  my belief that no one should have to grieve alone.

My hope is that here people can find comfort,  honor those they've lost, and know that their loved ones will always be remembered, always be cherished, and never forgotten
